Guar Gum: is a natural high molecular weight hydrocolloid polysaccharide composed of galactose and mannose combined through glycosides linkages, which may be described chemically as galactomannan. Guar Gum is easily soluble in Cold and Hot water (in colloidal form only). Guar Gum can be used in Food Applications, Pharmaceutical & Personal care and Industrial Applications. Guar Gum is used to thicken and stabilize various foods. The agents provide the foods with texture through formation of a gel. Some stabilizers and thickening agents are gelling agents.
